Principles and practice of management

The great French industrialist and management piorneer Henri Fayol first attempted to organize management knowledge around managerial functions. The four principal functions or duties of management are the processes of planning, organizing, leading and controlling (POLC).

Planning- deciding how best to allocate and use resources to achieve organizational goals.

Organizing- establiching a structure of relationships that dictates how members of an organization work together to achieve organizational goals.

Leading- Encouraging and coordinating individuals and groups so that all organizational members are working to achieve organizational goals

Controlling- Monitoring and evaluating individuals, froup, and organizational performance to see whether organizational goals are being achieved.

Conceptual skills- The ability to analyze and diagnose a situation and to distinguish between cause and effect.

Human skills- The ability to understand, work with, lead, and control the behavior of other people and groups.

Technical skills- Job-specific knowledge and techniques.

Goal must be SMART:
S- specific
M-measurable
A-attainable/achievable
R-relevant
T-timely

Efficiency- achievement if the ends with the least amount of resources
Effectiveness- achievement of objectives

hair cut

Went to cut hair during break, the hair stylist asked me to cut it short...sob sob.. short d ler...haha.. erm.. i am the last one finished cut my hair and 9 ppl are waiting for me..gai..pressure only..haha...

First day in Coll

I am the one who reached coll first, heng dai and Ys also came then we talked for a while.. Then followed by Qm ,Fion , uncle and Pk..

Then the lecturer for Management is so humourous.. And uncle loo said her talking pattern same as mine..got same meh???? ==" I am in the same group with Fion, Uncle, Qm and Xue wei..while John heng dai in another group consist of Pk, her dar, Ch and Sw..

Break for two hours and went to Gurney for lunch..KIM GARY again!!! hahah share fried rice with fion..while on the way going back to coll, we argued about whether theory is more important or practical..

During the MQA sub, i saw my cousin sis but she didnt even say hi to me.. Gosh~~~

The lecture is so so so so so bored...boring lecturer(sorry to him)...and the notes was printed using recycle paper..and there got Kam xia, qie qie, tor cheh..these things at the back of my paper..foreign language huh??haha..good also la..SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT..TRIPLE R-REDUCE, RECYCLE AND REUSE..

Tomorrow got his class again...hahah

Finally i gave the ring to Pk.. Before give her, scare she cant wear so ask her tried mine first..haha..and happen one inccident.. Mr.grasshopper..what a funny things..

Tomorrow going to start sem 2..i am going to study English for Business and Trade, Introduction to business, Business communications and Principles & Practice of Management..And i took extra sub that is MQA.. So total got five subjects.. How all of the sub are interesting..not like the FIM, gosh!!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily no need to retake it...THANKS GOD!!!

My cousin sis is going to same class with me for MQA....

Recently

7 August is the day that i so scare to face.. I NEED TO GO BACK COLL TO TAKE MY RESULTS!! I pray hard that i will pass all the sub and luckily....haha...That pk ppk me again, cant meet her in coll...gosh!!

8 August, went to Shanghai ding for lunch, i love the xiao long bao!!!! Yummy..almost every week went there...haha.. someone never come eat before ko..nevermind i wil intro those taste good de for you..haha... And your ring in beads zone..excited leh..haha
Went into nichii, gosh i spent a lot inside... RM115 for four clothes..ok, i bought one very lao yi de dress..don laugh me...need to save money d...read the confession of shopaholic and there got said CUT BACK or TRIPLE M--MAKE MORE MONEY!!! haha...i am doing financial planning, huh?? swt..

Yes!! Coll is going to start soon..yahoo!!!!
My cousin sis is coming back to Disted but don know will same class with her or not..haha..

Yam cha- 6 August 2009

My blog is going to rot soon if i didnt update it..haha
Finally i am back and gonna talk about the Yam cha night..haha
Actually we should meet at e gate at 7pm, but due to traffic jam, fion they all cant reach on time.. so i went to Tesco first.. bought my magazine and nail polish remover.. then went to e gate meet them d.. We decided to eat in Noodles Station and they just stand at outside until i reached.. When i was walking there, i am worrying about-- can i see them?? haha.. because i didnt wear spec.. Then i saw Qze Ming went into the toilet, called him but no respond. But finally i saw two people wearing white shirts (Husband and Wife) haha XD standing there..After went in the restaurant, Some people use half an hour to choose what to eat.. haha.. So funny in there..And went beside de Bed yam cha..then at 10.45pm , all also balik d.. and john's car tyre puncet when on the way home..pity him...

Good afternoon everyone..
I had finished my books and washed my clothes..
I am so happy just now when i listened to the radio, SUGAR is the number 1 in the list!!!!! YOYOYO!!! SUGAR ROCKS!!! hahah... yeah, finally it becomes number one!!!

Afternoon, we went to times quare heaven delight for lunch..the waitress so funny...haha...times square opera's shoes so nice and suit my taste.. and when got music i shake there bro jing ran say wah you so good in dancing ah..haha gosh.. he said i got the talent..haha

Night went to Northan Beach Cafe, ate my favourite 鱼翅 and hokkien cha...so full that night..haha like the environment there...

If not wrong tonight tv is showing SAD MOVIES..inside involve 3 stories all sad ending..aiks..but if you like me those easily will "rain" d de...better don watch la for those bad mood or not happy de..
haiz....sien lor....I almost finish my Test taking secret this book d...hohoho

Lets say, i asked you take good care of your ownselves, rest more..drink more water and got see doctor or not...these msg not care la?? is it??

And other things, everytime if i said i got go out...pls..don always ask me..with friends??? who fetch you?? pls..... i mostly go out with my parents... if i really got go out with friends i also will tell you...even i follow them rush here rush there i also got sms you..but pls don always say wah you so busy ah...this all...pls...

You live for your own, not for others...you care others so much for what?? dont you think it is so suffer to live for others?? Be yourself, this is the best!!
